Teton Valley

Today we went up to Teton Valley and played with my uncle and his family. We went and picked huckleberries up in the mountains and cooked hot dogs on a little camping stove. We had a blast!

Dave and my sister Sydney posing for the camera!

I can't believe I am putting this picture on here, but Dave told me I had too. Gotta love a picture of myself scarfing down a hot dog!

We also taught Dave one of my family's longest running traditions: the art of the "nigger-toe throw." A "nigger-toe" (I don't know their real name) looks like a cattail but smaller: perfect for throwing. We have big wars as we are driving along the mountain trails. It can get pretty violent. I came home with some dandy welts. It is a blast though!

I love how beautiful it is there. I wouldn't mind just staying up there all the time! (until we get snowed in and can't go anywhere, then I might change my mind!)

So I decided today that I live with the most random people on the face of the planet. We went out to dinner to a Thai food place and this is what happens.

Dave decided to be a warthog today!

Then he decided to pick his nose with the fortune cookies!

And it isn't just him! My parents are the same way! I am surrounded by craziness!
Then he saw the check!

It really wasn't that bad, but Dave (aka the Monopoly guy) decided to throw me off and make me think it was more than it really was.
If you are thinking this is a silly moment, you are wrong. This is my everyday life!

Well, I think I got it this blog thing mostly figured out. Not much has been going on with us. I will admit that I am addicted to blogspot. I check everyone's blogs all the time to see if there is anything new! So thanks all y'all that have them! We are getting really excited to see everyone at the Empey reunion. It should be a blast! Nothin much exciting is going on here. Dave is still workin with kids that are as he says "around his IQ level" and I am getting used to my new job as a nurse. I work night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. It isn't too bad. This is what Dave does when he isn't at work and while I am sleeping during the day. Just sits in the pool with the kids and the dog! What a life!
